About
Kristen Burnett is an American brand developer, creative strategist and graphic designer based in Austin, Texas. She believes great design solves problems and is passionate about balancing the needs of her client in a beautiful, functional and compelling way.
She graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2011, where she completed her BFA in Visual Communication. With experience in both print and web design, she is particularly interested in branding, typography, collateral design and motion animation, with a growing love for home renovation and interior design. Enjoying the entire design process, strategizing and designing new materials from conceptualization to delivery, she creatively and flexibly navigates challenges while consistently meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations along the way.
Since 2013, she’s had the privilege of working for the Lower Colorado River Authority – a more than 85-year-old nonprofit public service agency which serves customers and communities throughout Texas by managing the lower Colorado River, ensuring a clean, reliable water supply; generating and transmitting electricity; and offering access to more than 40 parks. The primary steward of the brand, she produces and manages a team that produces award-winning internal and external visual communications in a way that is both engaging and understandable to a multitude of audiences.
